The Alzheimer Society of Montreal (ASM) was the first Alzheimer Society in Quebec. Our mission is to alleviate the social and personal consequences of Alzheimer’s and related disorders through the development and delivery of leading-edge interventions, care and support services in Montreal. Marie Christine has next to 20 years of experience working with seniors, including more than a decade with a clientele living with Alzheimer's disease, caregivers and professionals in health and social services networks.   • Join us for this fun and unique in-person workshop to assemble music boxes facilitated by the Montreal chapter of Makers Making Change and the Alzheimer Society of Montreal (ASM).
  • The community investment project What Connects Us and the National Centre for Dance Therapy are glad to invite the Montreal community to a free film screening of Dear Audrey. Directed and produced by Jeremiah Hayes, this film tells the story of Martin Duckworth and his wife Audrey Schirmer, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.
  • A multisensory approach through sound, visuals and discussion! Join us for a day of discoveries and surprises in one of the most colourful and exciting cities of the province! Come with us for a tour celebrating all the beautiful and iconic places of Montreal!

  • The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) has been offering special activities to persons living with Alzheimer’s and related disorders and their carers since 2010 as part of the Sharing the Museum program. The ASM and the MBAM are excited to welcome you back at the museum for another series of sessions.

  • Dance and movement, creativity, improvisation and choreographic work...This is an in-person workshop that invites people living with Alzheimer's and related disorders to explore their creative potential and let go in safety.

  • To expand its art therapy program, the Alzheimer Society of Montreal partnered with the What Connect Us program to provide art therapy workshops. Online and in-person art therapy workshops are offered for carers.

  • Laughter yoga is a new addition to the activities offered online by the Alzheimer Society of Montreal. We are delighted to be working with "Joyful Connections" to bring this fun-filled program to persons living with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and their carers. Come and laugh with us!
